Mexican Fire Opal symbolizes pure inner joy, luck, success, and passion. Their spiritual meaning was sacred to Aztec and Mayan cultures.  There it was called " the stone of the bird of paradise" or "the hummingbird stone" reflective of its vibrant colors and the ancient belief that only the waters from paradise could produce fire opal.
